Jakarta. The Gajah Tunggal Radial Drift Team is set to compete in the Jakarta Fun Day National & International Drifting Championship at Parkir Timur Senayan, Jakarta, on July 31.
GT marketing and sales general manager Arijanto Notorahardjo said his drifters cannot wait to compete in the championship.
"Our drifters have been practicing hard even though this is the fasting month," Arijanto said in a press conference after a practice session on Sunday (19/06).
The drifting contest in July will be divided into three categories, "drift stars," "rookies" and "pro class," and involve big-name Indonesian drifters including Mahaputra Miko from the GT Radial Drift Team and Rio Saputra from Pertamax Motorsport who were among the top 10 finishers in Melbourne's 2013 Formula Drift Asia.
